Los Angeles officer fiercely fired a 14-year-old girl who was inside a dress shop dressing room on Thursday as they shot at a suspect who had attacked a woman before, authorities stated.
Police also killed the male suspect, authorities stated. He and the girl have not been called. The female who had been attacked was taken to the hospital with mild to severe wounds.

The bullets were shot at almost 11:45 a.m. at a Burlington store — part of a chain once known as Burlington Coat Factory — in the North Hollywood zone of the San Fernando Valley.
Police originally reacted to reports of an individual being attacked with a lethal weapon, as well as reports of bullets being fired, Los Angeles police Capt. Stacy Spell told a press conference. Spell stated officers opened fire when they noticed the suspect attacking another individual. The suspect was hit by the officers’ bullets and killed, Spell stated.
